HamNation and Slot Antennas

The current QST has an interesting article on using a DirecTV satellite dish as a 2-meter antenna.  Possibly a great solution for hams bound by CCRs.  John Portune, W6NBC has a very interesting video out showing much more detail than seen in QST.  He even has a very unusual slot antenna that can be mounted to the roof of a car or RV. (no it does NOT look like a dish!)  Watch the entire video here, beginning 20 minutes into the show.       HamNation on TWIT

About n6xn

It all started in 1968 at a small 100 Watt radio station in Napa California. Looks like I finally got my priorities straight: the career is on the back burner and the K3 is getting some air time.
